Student of the Month — March

Socially

Chance Kistler has been nominated for Student of the Month in behalf of his respectful attitude and hard work. He is a junior at Salt Fork, and is involved in Future Farmers of America and National Honor Society. He has also been selected a captain for the 2016 football season this upcoming fall. After highschool he plans to pursue an associate’s degree at DACC while working alongside with his Dad in his excavating business. Chance then plans to potentially follow in his father’s footsteps and take over the business. Although he doesn’t thoroughly enjoy school, his favorite subject in school would have to be math because it comes easy to him. Mr. Ford is one of his all time favorite teachers because he has taught him a lot of life lessons that he will carry on with him even after high school. Outside of school, he enjoys working with his dad, playing video games and spending time with his friends. Over summer break he plans to work with his Dad, prepare for the upcoming football season and have fun with all of his friends. Although there has been quite a few role models throughout his life, his dad Chad Kistler stands out the most to him. Chance looks up to his dad because he always helps him strive to be a better person and is his biggest supporter. The SFHS staff agrees that he possesses attributes that makes him very well respected by his classmates and by the staff at SFHS. Chance is a leader by example and he is extremely considerate to other individuals around him. Congratulations Chance, keep up the positive attitude!
